When we got a union hall, we had to pay the rent, and clean up the building up here on Franklin Avenue. Infact [inaudible] and I payed the first month's rent, fifteen dollars, and uh... I would go, after work, when we'd be picketting, I'd be there for people and at two thirty, we'd still be there when people would get of work from the second shift and before they'd go on the third shifts too, and take dues, take money for people joining.
